I do have an existing square enix account, so I was trying to use that, to no avail. At no point have they mentioned mog station. For FF14, you apparently have to create a new square enix account through the launcher, which I have now done successfully. I think that account was created when I got the Tomb Raider reboot game. They asked if I have a square enix account, which I do, and it doesnt work. 'Are you trying to log into the SE account website, or MogStation?' I replied that I was trying to log into the game, as launched on steam, with my existing square enix account. 'Hate to be a broken record, but you ignored the response.' No, I didn't ignore you.

At no point was there any mention of mogstation.ДЇrom the perspective of someone trying to get FF14 set up for the first time, this is very confusing. I've now selected the 'I do not have an existing square enix account', and went through the steps on the launcher to create a new account. To be fair, my options were 'I have an existing square enix account' and ' I do not have an existing square enix account'.
